Counter-UAS Fusion Sight: HAMR-X Fusion for Heavy Weapons

Counter-UAS Fusion Sight: HAMR-X Fusion for Heavy Weapons

The HAMR-X Fusion is a multi-spectral fusion sight built for counter-UAS engagement from heavy machine gun and light machine gun platforms. It combines thermal and visual channels through patented fusion technology, letting operators detect, track, and engage low-altitude drone threats with a single sight.

Rated for sustained automatic fire, the HAMR-X Fusion maintains zero under heavy recoil. The kit ships with the HMD-800 portable display for remote observation and engagement without shouldering the weapon. It is ITAR-free, actively deployed in combat zones, and available for rapid dispatch.

Features

  • Patented fusion technology – Overlays thermal and visual channels in a single image, giving operators simultaneous heat signature detection and visual identification of aerial targets
  • Heavy recoil rated – Engineered to endure sustained automatic fire on HMG and LMG platforms while holding zero, where conventional optics shift or fail
  • HMD-800 display included – The kit ships with a rugged portable display delivering zero-lag video from the sight, allowing observation and engagement from cover without exposure behind the weapon
  • RF early warning integration – Pairs with RF detection systems for drone cueing, cutting the time between detection and engagement
  • Shutterless silent FPA – Continuous thermal imaging with no shutter freeze, so the image never pauses during target tracking or engagement
  • ITAR-free and market-ready – Made in Canada with no US export license required, available for rapid international procurement

Built for the Counter-Drone Fight

Low-altitude drones are small, fast, and hard to acquire with conventional optics. The HAMR-X Fusion addresses each part of that problem directly.

The multi-spectral sensor picks up the heat signature of a drone motor against a cold sky, while the fusion overlay adds the visual detail needed to identify the target before engaging. Up to 16x total magnification and an ultra-fast refresh rate keep small, moving targets acquired and tracked through the engagement.

The HMD-800 changes how the weapon is employed. Instead of an operator exposed behind a heavy machine gun scanning the sky, the gun can be laid on a sector while the crew observes from cover on the display, moving to the weapon only to engage.
